Awhile ago I was awarded the Brilliant Blog Bouquet Award from Emily at Forget-Me-Not. I haven't taken the time to answer the questions yet, so I figured I'd should probably do it now!
Blog Award Rules:
Put a link to who gave you the award
Post the award to your blog
Answer the questions
Choose 5 blogs to receive the award
Let them know you've awarded them
Blog Award Questions:
1. If you could have a "flower pen name" like we have here on our blog, Violets and Daisies what would it be?
2. What is your favorite ever Bible verse and why?
3. What are the blogs which inspire you most?
4. If you and your friends could visit any country in the world, where would you go?
5. If you have one, feel free to share your testimony as to how you became a Christian.
1.) I would have to choose Daffodils for a Flower Pen Name, because I love them!
2.) Isaiah 40:31: But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. It's one of my favorites, because it reminds me that the only source of strength is the Lord, and that I will, indeed, 'run and not grow weary' spiritually.
3.) One that I really enjoy and that inspires me is Lucia Marie//the road less traveled
4.) My dream is to visit Prince Adward Island, Canada, to see if it's actually is like Anne of Green Gables portrays it to be. =D Or maybe I should say still is like that, because I'm sure it was at one point in time. =) I'm sure my friends would love to come with...
5.) I accepted the Lord as my savior when I was 5, and was baptized when I was 14. I have learned a lot these past couple years and pray that will continue to strive to please and honor Him in everything I do, say, and think.
The Blogs I awarded:
Melody at Regency Delight ~Jane Austen, etc.~
Miss Dashwood at Yet Another Period Drama Blog
Susannah at (life is too short not to) wear read shoes
Natalie at I Dream in French
Charity U at Austenitis
Thats so fun! I will visit the island with you!! =D I like that verse too. Your testimony sounds similar to mine! Except that I was baptized when I was a little younger. But I was present at YOUR baptism! Because you were baptized with at least one sibling of mine!! =D
ReplyDeleteSee ya Sunday!!
I would LOVE to visit there! :D You will have to tell me when you are planning a trip! ;D

DeleteThanks for tagging me, Miss Evelyn! I don't have time to do this at present, but maybe someday. :) Again, thanks!
ReplyDeleteYour next book should be David Copperfield!!! =D When are you gonna do your next book/movie review??
ReplyDeleteMmmm... that's a good idea. I'm not sure when the next one will be, but I think I might do a photo post. Instead of a review. =)
